This is a piece I have almost finished for a short animated film about the Mythology of the Maid, the Mother, and the Crone. The Mother is adding the "Spark" to the Primordial Stew.It's all Photoshop, not photos. The trees were created with photoshop leaf brushes (thanks!, Burt Monroy!) The pines are made with a little blades of grass brush, and the maples, are made with the maple brush. Lots of airbrush and dodge and burn. LOTS of dodge and burn!!
I am working on learning old-school animation, hand-drawn, scanned into Flipbook, then exported to Photoshop, then After Effects. What a neat thing to see a drawing come to life and move! I will keep you posted!
